Jennifer earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Florida A&M University College of Law, where she ranked first in her class and earned nine book awards. Her academic excellence was further recognized by the Fifth District Court of Appeal, which named her one of the top scorers on the Florida Bar Exam. In recognition of this achievement, she was invited by the Chief Judge to deliver the induction address for new attorneys in May 2022.
Before law school, Jennifer served as a police officer for the City of Durham, North Carolina, providing her with a unique, front-line perspective on conflict resolution and the law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, summa cum laude, from North Carolina State University, with minors in Forensic Science and Psychology.
