- Successful representation of a client with over 500 employees nationwide in a Department of Labor investigation
- Representation of a national hospitality client before the National Labor Relations Board that resulted in a complete dismissal of the charges, which was sustained on appeal to the General Counsel of the National Labor Relations Board
- Defense of a large employer in a federal wage and hour collective action
Prior to founding Losey PLLC, Catherine was counsel at an international law firm that specialized in labor and employment law, and was also a litigator at one of the 100 largest law firms in the United States. In her work as a litigator, she represented financial institutions and traveled extensively for a compliance audit on behalf of a national bank.
Community Involvement
Catherine is passionate about community involvement. She has a special interest in volunteering to assist women and children in need. She sits on the board for City Year Orlando, an organization that is committed to developing the next generation of leaders through near peer mentors in Title I designated public schools. She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Greater Orlando, whose purpose is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact. Catherine is also a member of 100 Women Strong of the Central Florida Foundation, which is a strategic giving circle dedicated to improving the lives of local women and children. She has also served as a guardian ad litem and a volunteer judge and jury advisor for Orange County Teen Court.

Education & Professional Background
Catherine graduated cum laude from the University of Florida College of Law where she served as Executive Symposium Editor of the Florida Law Review. She was named to the Dean’s List and received the book award for earning the highest grade in Legal Drafting. During law school, Catherine served as a law clerk to the Honorable Steven D. Merryday in the Middle District of Florida. She was also a teaching assistant for Legal Research & Writing, Appellate Advocacy, and Trial Practice. Catherine graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.A. in English; she studied abroad at Cambridge University and received a certificate in Victorian literature.
