Appellate Litigation

Review all our practice areas.

A trial does not always mark the end of a case. We stand ready to represent our clients through the complicated appellate process, offering considered counsel and zealous representation to clients whose cases have been brought from ruling to appeal.

We have represented business and individuals, Appellants and Appellees in all of Florida’s district courts of appeal, in the Eleventh and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeals, as well as in the United States Supreme Court.

Substantive areas of appellate litigation include constitutional law, the Fair Labor Standards Act, criminal law, domestic violence injunctions, complex commercial, homeowners and condominium association law, the Florida Mobile Home Act, intellectual property, family law, insurance, and civil rights matters.

We also regularly counsel other attorneys in trial court matters, including how to preserve issues for appeal, jury selection, and pre-trial matters such as motions for summary judgment, Daubert motions, trial memos, and motions for reconsideration.

Other law firms often retain our appellate lawyers to research and analyze complex legal issues that arise in their trial court matters and to draft their pretrial motions and memos in state and federal trial courts.
