Daniel “Dan” Noffsinger


Daniel (Dan) Noffsinger focuses his practice on counseling companies at all stages, from formation and ongoing compliance to asset purchase and sales and other exits. He also assists the litigation department with drafting and research.

Educational and Professional Background

Dan graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida College of Law, where he was the Executive Research Editor for the Journal of Technology Law and Policy, a member of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society and the Pro Bono Service Initiative, and a research assistant for former Professor D. Daniel Sokol. While there, he was awarded the Order of the Coif and received CALI book awards for the highest class grade in six courses: Civil Procedure, Business Enterprises Survey, Appellate Advocacy, Sports Law, Advanced Legal Research (Corporate & Securities), and Payment Systems. His student note, The New McCarthyism: How the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Got Automated License Plate Readers and the Mosaic Theory All Wrong, was blindly selected for publication at 26 FLA. J. TECH. L. & POL’Y 1 (2022). During law school, Dan also served as a legal extern for the Honorable Jay P. Cohen of Florida’s Fifth District Court of Appeal and a summer clerk in the Office of the General Counsel for the University of Central Florida.

Prior to law school, Dan spent over 12 years in Major League Baseball with the Miami Marlins in a number of positions including Director of Baseball Operations and Director of Analytics. Before coming to Losey, Dan worked in the Orlando office of an AmLaw 50 law firm, where he worked on a variety of matters, including one of the largest transactions on record in the senior living space. Dan holds an AB degree cum laude in field in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, where he was a member of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals and Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra.

Dan is admitted to practice in the State of Florida.
